Items offered on the Swatlux site

All items offered by are described in good faith, as accurately as possible. The goods and prices offered are valid on the date you visit the site. Prices shown include VAT. Swatlux cannot be held responsible for any errors in the details displayed.

Products displayed on the site are offered subject to availability. Swatlux does all possible to ensure that items you have ordered will be available. It may however come about that stocks of an item are exhausted. If this happens, you will be notified as quickly as possible and you will be free to cancel your order if you wish. Swatlux cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by non-availability of an item.

 Contract with Swatlux

A valid contract is made between yourself and Swatlux once Swatlux receives confirmation of your order on its site . may at any time decide to make the contract’s validity subject to other conditions, in cases, for example, of bulk orders or in view of the expected payment terms, of orders submitted by minors, or of order forms that are incomplete or incorrect.

Returned goods

The Legislation on business practices and consumer protection gives the consumer the right to advise the vendor of the cancellation of a purchase within 7 days following delivery or of making the contract.

Should you wish to return an item, please do not open the plastic protective covering of the package. Swatlux will refuse returns and refunds if the plastic protective covering has been opened, or if items have been damaged by the customer.

    The return address depends on where you live. On receiving your e-mail message, we will issue a return number and the address to which the return is to be made.

    Return the item to us by recorded delivery, accompanied by a copy of your invoice, with a note of the return number on the parcel.



 We collect the personalinformation needed to process your orders as quickly and easily as possible. This information also allows us to offer you personalised services that take account of your own tastes and preferences.

Swatlux complies with the Luxembourg legislation relating to the protection of privacy in processing personal data which implemented the European directive of 24 October 1995. This legislation provides that prior consent must be obtained from the person concerned before collecting any data from that person ; that personal data must be relevant, appropriate and accurate ; and finally, that they must be collected for a specific, explicit and legitimate purpose. The person about whom data have been collected must have a right of access, and correction, to data about him/her.
Finally, the law requires the declaration of automated data-processing of personal details to the Commission for the protection of privacy.

Applicable law and competent legal jurisdiction

The law of Luxembourg is applicable.

The courts of law in the vendor’s judiciary district are the only competent courts of law.
